Alex Mulé, PA-C graduated from Chapman University in Orange, California, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Health and Strategic Communication.
After Chapman, Alex went on to Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, California, where he earned a Master of Medical Science degree.
Alex developed a passion for psychiatry in PA school. He has over 6 years of experience in psychiatry serving the Orange County community. Prior to his role at Harbor Mental Health, he was a Lead PA at Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists where he specialized in managing complex psychiatric and addiction cases, trained new providers, and helped oversee clinical operations. He has an empathetic approach to treatment and is a believer in focusing on a patient’s strengths while acknowledging areas of improvement. He has worked in multiple settings but his areas of interest are general psychiatry and addiction. He typically works with the adult population and treats disorders such as Bipolar, Schizophrenia, ADHD, Anxiety and Depression. He has a certification of added qualifications (CAQ) in psychiatry.
A former NCAA Division III All-American in water polo, Alexander brings the same discipline, teamwork, and leadership to his medical practice.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and son as well as surfing, mountain biking and swimming.
