Dr. Mimi is a humanistic-transpersonal therapist using a trauma-informed, culturally
competent approach with an eclectic modality to empower her clients. She believes that nonjudgmental witnessing with a healthy co-created connection is vital to the well-being of one’s life journey.
Dr. Mimi understands that “no one is immune to growing pains” as they navigate their path toward discovering their unique and authentic self. She focuses on the whole person rather than simply changing disordered behavior. This is achieved by providing a collaborative, safe space for open communication and self-exploration while guiding her clients through steps to learn the skills needed for: self-reflection, integration, healing, and transformation.
Dr. Mimi’s research interests included Jung’s Shadow theory applied to individual identity as well as American culture, which resulted in her writing and publishing five books that hit Amazon #1 best sellers list [Nationally & Internationally]. She also received a doctorate degree from: California Institute of Integral Studies and completed a dissertation on: An Integrative Literature Review of the Psychological Consequences of Celebrity and Fame for Entertainers.
