Thomas Bales, PA-C
Thomas Bales completed his undergraduate studies at Whitman College in Washington state, with a degree in psychology. Upon returning to California, he studied neuroscience and completed a master’s degree at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. He furthered his education at Bryant University in Rhode Island, where he earned a second graduate degree in physician assistant studies. After graduation, he was appointed an adjunct professorship at Bryant–where he continues to lecture on various topics including neuroscience, mental health, and clinical medicine. He developed his motivational therapeutic style under the tutelage of the physicians of Warren Alpert Brown University Medicine at Butler Hospital and draws upon experience in several aspects of general psychiatric treatment.
Thomas believes the journey to growth and self-discovery is best undertaken with a cohesive and receptive team that recognizes and embraces the strengths of clients. When he is not actively seeing clients, he is busy studying new developments in neurophysiology, pharmacology, and therapy. He also spends his free time playing tennis and listening to music.
