Lauren Harrington, PMHNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of healthcare experience in emergency and critical care.
Throughout her nursing career, she cared for patients experiencing both medical and psychiatric crises, where she developed a strong foundation in compassionate, patient-centered care and learned the importance of treating every individual with empathy, dignity, and respect. Lauren earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. She provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individualized treatment plans for patients experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, and other mood and thought disorders.
Lauren believes that meaningful mental health care begins with building a trusting relationship where patients feel heard, understood, and involved in their treatment. She takes a collaborative, evidence-based approach that combines medication management with education, supportive therapy, and healthy lifestyle strategies to promote long-term wellness. Lauren is passionate about treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis, and works closely with each patient to develop realistic, personalized goals that support lasting growth and improved quality of life. Her goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions, sharing their concerns, and taking an active role in their mental health journey.
