Cameron Learman completed her undergraduate studies at Alma College in Michigan, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with special emphasis in Chemistry. Thereafter, she went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in Neuroscience from Central Michigan University, where she was actively involved in research projects investigating novel therapies to treat several neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and stroke. After working numerous years in a laboratory, Cameron decided to focus her efforts on patient centered care and completed a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Chapman University.
Cameron provides specialized psychiatric services to individuals suffering a wide array of psychiatric disorders including major depressive disorders, panic disorder, anxiety, mood disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, insomnia, obsessive compulsive disorder, attention deficit disorder, schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorder and bipolar disorder. Using a combination psychotherapy, evidence based guidelines and genetics, she focuses on individualized treatment plans to aid her patients in making the best decisions regarding their continuum of care. Cameron’s authentic humanity and care for others is evident in her practice as a medical provider and further celebrated by her relatable and engaging disposition. She strives to create a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space to foster self-exploration, behavior change and emotional growth.
