Christina Perez, Ph.D.
Dr. Christina Perez is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience supporting clients across multiple levels of care, including acute inpatient hospital settings and outpatient clinics. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Depth Psychology, from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where she conducted research on the role of creativity in songwriting and psychotherapy. Earlier in her career, she provided gang prevention and intervention therapy for high-risk youth and families navigating systemic inequities—experiences that deepened her commitment to culturally responsive, justice-oriented care.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr. Perez is actively involved in teaching, training, and advocacy. She has presented nationally and internationally on topics such as eating disorder treatment in midlife and beyond, as well as the role of creativity in psychotherapy and healing. In her practice, Dr. Perez integrates relational and evidence-based approaches, offering a collaborative and compassionate space where clients can strengthen their inner resources and connect more deeply with the parts of themselves that may feel most vulnerable.
